Five apps you NEED this summer
May 30, 2017
Too many passwords, not enough money, expensive cell plans and bad maps apps: a preview of problems dreaded in the hopefully perfect summer. Luckily, some app creators have come to the rescue, giving a safe place to store passwords, a database of cheap gas stations, a social media maps app and more.

1Password: For those who lack in remembrance, this app gives the user a protected place to store passwords for almost any kind of website or service.

GasBuddy: Frugal wallets fear no more, as the app “GasBuddy” compares gas stations in your area to save you money while pointing out closer stations. Turning on location services allows the user to get a whole map of the lowest prices on gas.

Gratuity: This nifty tip calculator helps you pay for lunch, dinner, or split your bill. For the money saver, navigating through the app gives you the ability to calculate tax and how much you should pay in your group.

Whatsapp: For those who hate texting and minute charges, Whatsapp saves the day with their convenient messaging and voice call app.

Waze: The better replacement for apple or google maps, not only offers basic navigation but acts as a sort of social media. People can note on the map where there are accidents, police patrols, and traffic jams.
