Senior commits to play football for Horned Frogs

Senior Trevon Moehrig-Woodard signed on Dec 20. at Smithson Valley High School accompanied by his coaches, family, and friends.

Senior Trevon Moehrig-Woodard committed to Texas Christian University on Dec. 20 as part of a wave early commits. Moehrig-Woodard is committed as a safety to a highly touted program as the Horned Frogs are a consistent contender in the Big 12 and are coming off of a Alamo Bowl victory.

Moehrig-Woodard was a three year letter and ends his career at Smithson Valley as the leader in career punt and kick return yards for the Rangers while finishing eight all time in scoring.

Moehrig- Woodard was rated as high as a 4-star recruit, according to 24/7 Sports,and held several offers from other Division 1 schools such as Stanford and Missouri before committing to TCU.

Moehrig-Woodard plays his final high school game of his career on Saturday during the San Antonio High School All Stars football game.
