Changes to calendar A are to be voted on at the next school board meeting in February. A survey which went out in December posted two options for the 2018-2019. Option A was the preferred option by voters.  

“Most who voted were in favor of option A,” director of Marketing and Community Partnerships Daniel Mendez said. “The calendar committee has made changes to option A which the board will vote on.”

The changes are minor with school activities are not drastically changed from this year’s calendar.  

“Senior week activities starting on Tuesday, May 28, 2019,” principal Michael Wahl said. “I would predict graduation be Saturday June 1 2019.”

The administration does not plan to change the bell schedule for next year, keeping the three lunch system. Admin believes that their plan would be best suited for next year.

“We have to remember the calendar is instructional and we try to make sure school ends prior to May 31, 2019,” Wahl said. “This calendar accomplishes that goal.”
