On April 27th, rapper Post Malone released his second album Beerbongs and Bentleys, which lead to high praise, record breaking streaming, and insane record sales. Post Malone’s new album marks his second album ever released, but possibly one of the most successful next to his debut album Stoney which went certified platinum in under a week. The album followed his hit song Psycho which was only released weeks before, leaving many fans with high anticipation for his new album, as he sold out in under 15 minutes during his presale. Beerbongs and Bentleys was announced in early December of 2017 and has left people with high. The album is also on track to make platinum in under six days as it has shattered records for music downloads on streaming devices Spotify and Apple Music. Many reviewers have praised Malone for his music on the album, including outspoken reviewer Anthony Fantano, who has been regarded as one of the most followed music critic on the streaming service, Youtube.

The album starts out with up beat music during his first couple of songs including fan favorite Paranoid and rockstar. His best song may be seen as Stay, which combines Malone’s unique vocals with his outstanding guitar skills, leaving many in awe of his performance. Personally that may be my favorite song of all time from Post Malone, as you can truly hear his unique style as an artist, not just a rapper.

This album prompts Post Malone’s true ability as an artist, as the album itself has earned much praise. Many people are even more ambitious than ever for his newly released single that has to be announced but is said to come out in the coming weeks.
