The Ranger cross country team competed in the District 26-6A Meet on Oct. 12 placing first  for the event. The team nearly swept the meet, winning all but one event.

The group dominated the meet with the team events being won with ease while almost all of the individual events saw Rangers placing high as well.

The Cross Country coach Brittney Lanehart said “the varsity girls dominated the meet with three freshman and four sophomores. The JV girls finished their season undefeated.”

The varsity teams will move on to their next challenge with the regional championships taking place on Oct. 22.
