Girls Soccer:
Carlee Shull had two goals to lead girls soccer to a 7-0 victory over Lockhart at home on Monday.
The Rangers had six different players score goals and five with assists, led by Damita Mendoza and Maddie Malo with two each.
Melyna Martinez and Sophia Phelan split time at goalie but weren’t tested as they both had zero saves and zero goals against.
The Lockhart Girls Soccer team now sits at 0-4.
The Rangers’ win brought their record to 4-3-1 and they will start district play this Friday against Clemens.
Boys Basketball:
Boys Basketball lost to Clemens at home 83-48.
Joey Teaske was the leading scorer last night with 21 points. Clemens is one of the top opponents in the district currently with a record of 19-9 and 7-1 in the district.
Sean Bolds holds the highest scoring average of 15.9 points per game and 400 points throughout the whole season making him the leading scorer.
Armel Talla is leading the team with 55 assists and again Sean Bolds has 76 defensive rebounds.
Boys Soccer:
On Tuesday, the boys soccer team was shutout 3-0 by San Antonio LEE following a 2-2 tie Friday at Marble Falls. Their next game is the district opener against Clemens is Lehnhoff Stadium.
