Volleyball took a hard loss at the hands of the Clemens Buffalos on Friday in three straight sets.

The loss dropped the team to a 0-1 record in district and placed them in sevent in the standings.

On the bright side, Friday saw the return of senior Tanyse Moehrig to a full-time role on the court. The outside hitter lead the team with 7 kills and had 2 digs. To go along with it, senior defensive specialist Ashley Acuna recorded total 23 digs, and setter Lily Sandoval collected 15 assists and two digs.

Up next for the team is a match between two Comal ISD rivals as they travel to New Braunfels to take on the second place Canyon Cougars. The Cougars are coming off a win against inner city rival New Braunfels in five sets.
