FFA teams dominate Area 7 contests

The horse FFA horse judging team placed second at area and qualified to compete in the State FFA Horse Judging Contest. Results are as followed:

  • Clay Elbel, 2nd high individual
  • Cat Fadok, 8th high individual
  • Lindsey Raba, 9th high individual  
  • Other team members included Katie Young and Madison Oquin.

The FFA Milk Quality and Products team for placing 6th at the Area 7 FFA CDE contest at Texas A&M University on April 16. 

  • Members include: Annie Vollmer, Savannah Vega, Allie Schroeder, Kelsey Morris, Morgan Elsworth, Kristen Shoemake, and Peyton Eickenroht.

The Livestock Judging Team placed 11th at the Area 7 FFA contest. Results are as followed: 

  • Cameron Kissling, 9th place out of over 200 competitors.  
  • Other team members include Tyler Obeck, Jack Whitaker, Karigon Rion, Ashley Carter, and Kyle Dreibrodt.

FFA Wool Judging Team placed 7th at the Area 7 Wool Judging contest at James Madison High School on April 14 and are advancing to the state contest at Texas Tech University in Lubbock on Saturday.
