The UIL academics team clinched sweepstakes for District 26-5A on April 6 while sending more than a dozen scholars to region on April 27 at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

The district winning performances of the cross-examination debate team and the one-act play “Iphigenia” set up rest of the team with victories heading into Saturday’s contests.
