For the first time in school history, the Student Athletic Trainers took home the Quiz Bowl Championship against Johnson.

Boys Soccer

Friday night, boys soccer season ended after falling to Cedar Park 2-0. To end the season, Senior Matthew Capetillo earned the award of Co-Midfileder of the year for the Comal district. Jax Adkins, Cade Sims, and Greg Gelstone earned First Team All District. Chase Hansen and Noah Navarro earned Second Team All Distritct. Clayton Amaya, JD Worley, and Xavier Polendo all won All District Honorable Mention for District 26-5A. 

 

Girls Soccer
This past Friday girls soccer defeated Cedar Park and headed to the second round of playoffs Monday against Jefferson High School. Girls took down Jefferson 9-0. Goals were from Arianna Monnin (3), Sabrina Taber (3), Jasmin Dominguez (1), Izzie Partida (1), and Raelyn Hinojosa (1). Goalkeeper Abby Thompson had one save, zero goals against. They will play Boerne Champion Friday at 7:00 p.m. here at Ranger Stadium. Girls soccer is currently 24-0


Track

Track will compete March 30 at the Don Shelton Relays at Hays High School.

Tennis took on Lehman this past week at the Lehman HS Tournament.

Golf

Golf competed yesterday with junior Aiden Page placing first and taking home district champ. Ryan Griff took second and District Runner up. 11 of the golfers will head to the Regional Tourney. 

 

Baseball

Baseball took on Seguin Wednesday and Friday beating them both 11-0. Last night they played Wagner, beating them 11-1. They will play Wagner again on Friday at 7:00 p.m. here at home. On Saturday they will play New Braufels at 1:00 p.m here at home. 

 

Softball

This past Friday softball took on Beorne Champion softball winning 17-0. They will play Pieper today at Pieper at 6:00 p.m. 

 

Trainers

The Student Athletic Trainers attended AAATA this past Friday. For the first time in school history they took home the Quiz Bowl Championship. Three seniors, Blanton Sawyer, Hollie Waltman, and Torin Tiller were all recognized by the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association as First Team Academic All State.
