Three 400m dash runners place top Three at Regionals. Freddie Dubose placed first at (49.97) in the boys 400 m with Arthur Breault trailing .08 seconds in second. Kevin Uduji took third place.

Softball

Softball played Southside winning overall 3-0. The first games final score was 2-1, the second games final score was 5-3, and lastly the third games final score was also 5-3. 

Pitchers for the games were Madaline Haun and Arianna Capek. Capek had 5 total strikeouts, while Haun had 3 total strikeouts. In Thursday’s game, softball had a team total of 32 at bats, 2 more than Southside had. In Friday’s game, they had 27 at bats, just one more than Southside.

Softball will continue their playoffs journey, heading to Regional quarter finals. They will go against South San Antonio, playing at Marion High school. Game days are this week on Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 7:30 p.m., and if necessary on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Baseball

Baseball continued their run in the playoffs this past week. On Thursday baseball took on Hays, winning 7-2. The following day they kept the energy high for another win against Hays this time 10-3. Zach Gingrich pitched one inning with two outs. Jackson Elizondo pitched six innings with two runs, ten outs and four walks. Baseball heads into area to compete against South San. They will play Thursday and friday. Saturday if necessary. 

Track

Track will head to compete at the State meet May 11-13. Schedule as well as the athletes competing are down below.

Girls

Shot put- 9 a.m.

High Jump- 9 a.m.

Long Jump- 10:45 a.m. 

Discus- 1 p.m.

Triple Jump- 2:45 p.m.

Pole Vault- 3 p.m.
