Water Polo
The girls water polo team competed last night against Canyon Lake and won 18-14. They look to play Canyon next Tuesday at 5:15 p.m., home.
The boys team lost to Canyon Lake 4-17. They as well will look to play Canyon at home next Tuesday following the girls game.
Volleyball
This past Friday girl’s volleyball lost to Pieper by a score of 3-0. Both freshman players, Clair Bolton and Brooke Oney led the team in kills with 9. While junior Berkley Bates led the team in digs with 22.
However they most recently beat New Braunfels 3-2.
Their record is now (2-2) in district and (18-12) overall. Their next matchup is against Wagner who currently has a record of (7-20) and are (0-4) in the district. They will play this upcoming Friday at 7:00 p.m.
Tennis
This past Friday, the tennis team won against the unicorns 10-9 to secure a district win. Last night the team won against Wagner, winning 18-1 also securing another district win.
The teams’ current record is 3-3 in district matches and 8-4 overall. They look to play Tivy this upcoming Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.,home.
Cross Country
The girls cross country team leaves the other teams in the dust yet again at the Hays CISD XC Invitational, leading overall with 67 points. Junior Lilly Koenig took fifth place, freshman Aubrey Pozzi not far behind in eighth. Their average time was 19:20.
Boys took seventh place overall in the 5000 meter run finals, junior runners Zebene Martine and Luke Smith taking 15th and 16th place. The team’s average run time was 16:58.
The cross country team will compete next this Friday at the McNeil Invitational, and additionally again on Saturday at the McNeil Elite Invitational.
