The first deadline for students to complete dual credit paperwork is Jan. 27. If students fail to meet this deadline, they will be unable to take dual credit courses next year.
“The Dual Credit Program we have on campus is a fantastic opportunity for our students to earn high school and college credit at the same time,” Academic and Career Advisor Lauren Kiesling said. “All of our dual credit courses are taught on campus by SVHS teachers who are also members of the instructional faculty at Northeast Lakeview College here in San Antonio.”
Students who wish to take dual credit classes must go through the enrollment process at Northeast Lakeview to become a registered college student. If a student is currently enrolled in a dual credit course, they do not need to complete the application process again.
The dates and deadlines for the enrollment process are set by the college and are subject to change as they see fit.
