Volleyball moves up in District 27-6A

Volleyball swept Clemens at home Friday, 3-0, in a District 27-6A showdown that helped move the team up in the district standings.

The Rangers (32-8 overall, 9-2 district) took at all three games 25-14, 25-18 and 25-21.

Seniors Maja Kaiser and Tenley Housler led the team with eight kills. Junior Lauren Kadilis provided the team-high 17 assists while senior Macy Berg contributed defensively with 17 digs.

The Rangers are now tied for second place with Canyon,  each one game behind district leader New Braunfels with a 10-1 record. Volleyball will take on the Canyon Cougars on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
