The girls cross country competed at the UIL 6A Cross Country State Championship on Nov 12 in Round Rock, TX.

The team finished in 10th place out of the 16 schools competing finishing with a team score of 265 points. Sophomore Cambria Clark led the team finishing in 23rd place out of 152 runners with a time of 18:29.39. Freshman Megan Muzquiz finished 42nd overall while running a time of 18:51.35 and being one of only 29 freshman to compete in the state meet.

Gretchen Wersterfer, Sydney Jensen, Danielle Keranen, Mackenzie Jensen, and Jianni McDole rounded out the team competing in the state competition. It was the last meet for the girls as they will now get ready to prepare for another shot at the state meet next season.
