When is prom?

-Saturday, May 14

7p.m. – 12a.m.

Where will it be?

-JW Marriott Ballroom

23808 Resort Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78261

How much will prom cost?

-Ticket sales will last over the course of six weeks. In the first two weeks, tickets will cost $60, during the next two weeks they will cost $65, and during the last two weeks, the tickets will cost $70.

What is the theme and who came up with it?

-The theme is ‘Monte Carlo.’ The senior class took a vote by writing in ideas and Monte Carlo won just barely over ‘James Bond.’ I think it’s a good thing since James Bond is conclusive with Monte Carlo without the cheese.

When are nominations for superlatives and how can students be nominated?

-seniors should already be voting for superlatives in their english classes. A list of superlatives are next to open boxes for students to write down names for males and females respectively. The week after spring break, student council counts them over and pick a boy and girl for each category to be announced at prom.

What is the plan for food at prom?

-the JW caters with a buffet of foods ranging from a cheese bar, dessert bar, chicken finger-bites, southwestern egg rolls and more.

What would you like students to know about prom more than anything?

-the JW is one of the most elegant places in San Antonio. It’s a night filled with the hard work of many people and it’s all to celebrate our seniors.
