Boys basketball found itself on the losing end Tuesday, falling 77-70 to the Clemens Buffaloes. The loss puts the team at 7-10 overall on the season.

The team trailed by three going into halftime but could not come out with the victory despite a resilient effort.

On the scoring end, the team found its most success from the work of the juniors on the team. Juniors Sean Bolds, Dylan Sinegal and Rex King led the team in scoring with 19, 17, and 12 points, respectively.

The team’s potential was on full display, as a tightly contested loss versus a Buffaloes team that has a record of 20-2 shows true promise for the group going forward.

The team looks toward a district rival on the road, as it faces the Canyon Cougars at 7 p.m. Friday on the Cougar’s home floor.
