The winter guard will perform at Dripping Springs High School in Austin for Winter Guard International on Saturday.

The guard spins back into the game after receiving sixth place at the previous competition (Winter Guard International at Canyon High School) by winning second place at the Texas Educational Color Guard Association competition on Feb 24.

According to Teca.com, the guard scored 67.360 points.

“The changes look good,” Color guard instructor Samuel Woodfield said. “There are still some things to the show that need to be cleaned.”

The winter guard will perform the preliminaries at 2:30 p.m. against 41 other schools. If the guard make finals, they will perform the next day on Sunday in the 9am to 12 pm slot. (Scholastic A) The guard will also be present for retreat, the awards ceremony at the end of competition.
