With volleyball sweeping all 3 sets against Antonian, Boerne and Johnson High School, they showed dominance in their plays from start to finish. Maja Kaiser, third highest, hardest-hitting high school volleyball player in the area, as voted by the San Antonio Express News, completed the games with 12, 11, and 17 kills.

“Our team had heard that Antonian was a very loud and rowdy team,” Kaiser said. “We didn’t let that get to us and we showed up, played like us, and took it to them.”

After almost a month of hard work and determination, they have already won 28 out of 33 games, not including the Mizuno Texas Showcase that took place August 27-29. The Rangers came out in third place overall.

“Our first tournament was super solid and we’ve just been going uphill ever since,” Sophomore Lauren Kadillis said.

With playoffs as a clear goal for the team, the girls are working harder than ever before. They believe that working as a team helps them accomplish anything they set their minds too.

“I think this year we’re just really strong and super intense,” Kadillis said. “I just love being with these girls. We have amazing chemistry and I wouldn’t give it up for the world.”
