Successful Spike: Senior Kainah Williams spikes the ball against Antonian Sept. 1. The girls completed the game with a score of 3-0.

Since the beginning of the volleyball season, the girls varsity team dominated the score boards with numerous wins in tournaments and seasonal games.
“Our first tournament was super solid and we’ve just been going up hill ever since,” sophomore Lauren Kadillis said. “I think this year we’re just really strong and super intense.”
Volleyball won the game against Wagner, sweeping all three sets on Sept. 25 on Wagner’s home court.
The team, with a record of 28-7 overall and 4-2 in district, is inspired with a motivation that continues to allow players to strive for success.
“We are looking forward to the second section of district,” Kadillis said. “I think we’re just ready to take it to every single team.”
The girls are looking forward to taking these last couple games to the next level and continue to the playoffs.
“The playoffs will definitely be a challenge but we like challenges,” Kadillis said. “We don’t go down without a fight.”
