School district opens voting for next year’s academic calendar
The survey opened last week and is available on the Comal ISD website.

The school district is taking votes for next year’s academic calendar. There are two drafts that students, parents and teachers can vote for.
The two drafts are fairly similar, but differ in school start dates and the length of mid winter break in February.
Draft A has the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023 and the mid winter break from Feb. 16 – 19, 2024.
Draft B has the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 and the mid winter break from Feb. 15 – 19, 2024.
