Girls Basketball

The Girls basketball team took a tough loss to Wagner losing 37-70 making their record 6-4 and leaving them ranked 4th in distirct. This Friday the girls are looking to get an easy win against Veterans Memorial. Last time the team played them they won 73-59. They will play at home at 6:30 p.m.

 

Boys Basketball

This past Tuesday, the boys basketball team played against Wagner at home. Unfortunately the rangers suffered a hard loss, loing in OT 66-70. The team now has a district record of 1-7 leaving them in 8th place. Their next game will be this Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial.

 

Girls soccer

With the girls ranger soccer team being on a 3 game losing streak they won against Kerrville tivy 2-0 ending the drought, the (3-3) Rangers next game will be against the Matadors on the 26th at SV stadium at 7:15 p.m.

 

The top scorers in their recent games were- 

Jordan Todd with a goal against Tivy

Raelyn Hinojosa with a goal against Tivy

Peyton Cox with 2 assists against Tivy

 

Their next game will be home this Friday against Seguin.

 

Boys Soccer

With one of their games being canceled, drawing against John Jay,  and another Tie at Kerrville Tivy, the (3-3-2) Rangers next game will be against the Matadors on the 26th at Seguin (1-5) at 7:15 p.m.

Impactful players the past couple games:

Gus galzone with an assist against John Jay, and at Tivy

Sebastian Morales with a goal against John Jay 

Robert Garza with a goal against John Jay

Leonides Urrutia with a assist against John Jay, and a goal against Tivy

Joshua Mazzotta with a goal and an assist against Tivy

 

Theie next game will be at Seguin this Friday at 7:15 p.m.

Wrestling 

Recently both the girls and boys wrestling team competed in the 2024 THSWCA State Duals. Girls placed 9th overall while the boys finished 2nd overall.
