Thanksgiving is a holiday about gratefulness and family, and it is filled with comforting foods that bring people together. These are the top 10 Thanksgiving foods ranked.
10. Green bean casserole lands in the number 10 spot with an overall rating of 2.38 out of 5 stars. “My favorite food is green bean casserole because the crispy onions on top make the whole meal,” sophomore Kolby Allen said.
9. Cranberry sauce comes in 9th place with an overall rating of 2.54 out of 5 stars. “I have a massive sweet tooth all the time,” student Jadyn Armendariz said.
8. Sweet potatoes come in 8th place, their rating a 2.76 out of 5 stars. “It’s really good, especially with marshmallows on top, it’s like the perfect dessert,” student Haylie Grimm said.
7. Pecan pie is in 7th place with a rating of 2.82 out of 5 stars. “I like my food because it’s homemade and it brings my family together. Also because it’s really good,” student Kendall Spilman said.
6. Stuffing or dressing lands in number 6 with a rating of 3.07 out of 5 stars. “I love stuffing so much because it is a soft bread with other fillings that just taste absolutely delicious,” student Mallory Lindback said.
5. Ham comes in 5th place, their rating a 3.44 out of 5 stars. “I like the ham a lot because of the way my mom makes it,” freshman Ashley Baker said. “I like the way she makes a good combination of the glaze and ham.”
4. Pumpkin pie is in 4th place with an overall rating of 3.57 out of 5 stars. “Pumpkin pie is the embodiment of autumn,” student David Santos said. “It has the spice, it’s sweet, and tastes excellent when served either hot or cold.”
3. Turkey comes in 3rd place with a rating of 3.61 out of 5 stars. “Turkey is my favorite Thanksgiving food because it tastes good with a lot of things like gravy and rolls!” student Brooklyn Singh said.
2. Mashed potatoes are in 2nd place with a rating of 4.08 out of 5 stars. “I like it a lot because it goes great with everything and it always tastes so good,” student Gabriel Carver said.
1. Cornbread/rolls are in first place, their overall rating of 4.25 out of 5 stars making them the top ranked Thanksgiving food on campus. “I like my favorite food, rolls, because they are so good and hot after putting butter on them,” student Gabriella Rodriguez said.
