Heading into Friday’s win over New Braunfels, junior DT Justin Roberts had a more than 60 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 7 hurries and 2 batted balls and was No. 13 in Along the Wire’s Class of 2026 Top 30 pre-season.
He already has earned an offer from Texas A&M-Commerce, a Division I FCS member of the Southland Conference.

What is a goal you are currently working on?
Going D1 and making it to the next level.
What obstacles are you facing?
A lot of school work and fitting it in with everything.
What strategies have been helpful as you work to make progress?
Taking things slow and doing stuff little by little while still pushing myself.
How did you get started with Football? What was the first step?
Grinding/working hard and believing the man above, My Lord and Savior.
Why is football important to you?
Football is important to me because it’s all I got and I want it more than anybody, nobody’s going to stop me or can stop me from reaching my goals.
