Girls basketball
The girls’ basketball team suffered a tough loss last night, falling 64-26 to the Boerne Greyhounds, which dropped their district record to 0-3.
Junior center Izzy Di Mery was a standout on the boards last night, grabbing 11 rebounds, including 3 offensive and 8 defensive. She continues to grow, averaging 12.5 rebounds per game. In addition to her rebounding performance, Di Mery contributed 6 points, 1 steal, and 1 block.
The team will face Pieper on the road this Friday, who currently sits at the top of the district with a perfect 4-0 record.
Boys basketball
The boys’ basketball team went 3-1 in last week’s tournament. In their most recent game on November 10th, they narrowly lost to Boerne Champion, 47-48.
Last night, the team lost another close game to Boerne, 47-48, making their record 0-2 in district play. They as well look to play Pieper this Friday at 6:30 p.m., home.
