There will be no school on Friday Sept. 28 thanks to the the traditional Comal County Parade set to last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m in  New Braunfels. The Ranger Band has been selected to be at the head of the annual procession. While the parade is a focal point for celebration, it is actually a part of the bigger picture that is the Comal County Fair & Rodeo, which initializes on Tuesday Sept. 25 and ends on Sunday Sept. 30. Food booths, arts and crafts, and animal presentations are only a handful of the many activities that are to be available in the days between.

A football home game against Canyon High School is set in stone for that same Friday at 7:30 p.m.
