On Feb. 4, the student led service project, Soles for Souls Shoe Drive began taking donations.

“The most common type of shoe is a gently used shoe and those are the shoes that are sent to third world countries,” the student leading the project junior Abigail Reddon said.

The purpose of this cause is to assist with disaster relief, fight poverty in developing nations and help the environment by keeping old shoes out of landfills. Donation boxes are located all around the school. Here is the complete list of all the donation box locations:

  • Front Office
  • Library
  • All Athletic Locker Rooms
  • JROTC
  • AG Barn
  • Band Hall
  • Theatre Room
  • Choir Room
  • Dance Room
