Girls’ Soccer

Kaitlyn Smith and Jadelin Castillo each scored a goal in Girls’ Soccer 2-0 win at San Marcos on Tuesday. 

Hailey Smith and Maddie Malo assisted on the goals. 

Sophia Phelan and Melyna Martinez split time at goalkeeper with 40 minutes each and allowed 0 points.

San Marcos’ loss brings them to 5-8-2 and 1-5-0 in district.

The Lady Rangers are now 8-3-3 and 4-0-2 in district.

Smithson Valley beat Steele 1-0 at home on Friday.

Taryn Breeman scored the loan goal assisted by Haley Smith.

Melyna Martinez had 3 saves in 80 minutes.

Steele is 7-4-3 and 3-3–0

 

Girls’ Basketball

The team beat Bowie 52-38 in the first round of the playoffs on Monday. Anika McGarity lead the team with 16 points; Ashley Adaszczyk with 11 points; and Trinity Garrett with 8 points.

 

Wrestling

Zarek Holley, Jacob Forton, and Kobe Mora are going to regionals for boys and Bella Ruiz, Sage, Jessie Polk, and Elizebeth Flores girls are going to regionals for girls wrestling.
