Girls Soccer:

Girls soccer defeated San Marcos 7-1, Kaitlyn Smith scored fourgoals and Hailey Smith had four assists. Jewel Mann, Maddie Malo, and Demita Mendoza each scored one goal.

Baseball:

Baseball lost to East Central 0-5 on Tuesday. Kasen Wells led the team in runs with two,followed by Gavin Badurak and Jarek Wells with one each. Matt Franco led the team in strikeouts with three, followed by Ryan Ruff with two. This makes the Rangers 6-14-1 for the season.

Lacrosse:

The varsity lacrosse team played St. Mary’s Hall this past weekend in a 15-4 blowout. The win marks their second in district, giving the team a combined 4-0 standing on the season.

“We really played as a team,” senior attackman Aaron Clark. “It felt good to come out and play as one.”

Efforts from attackmen Clark, Conner, and Feely have lead the team with the highest points per game average in district. The team’s defense has shut down opponents with a combined five goals given up in four games, a district best.

The lax squad looks to defeat Houston powerhouse opponents in Magnolia and Cedar Park this Saturday in Houston.
