Artists win ribbons for gallery showcase
Lauren George recruits students to submit art into gallery

The New Braunfels Art League Gallery opened their studio to Smithson Valley Middle school, Smithson Valley High school, Canyon Middle, Canyon High, and Canyon Lake High to those that desired to show their talent.
The Drawing 2,3,4 and AP Studio art teacher Lauren George asked her students to participate in the showing to possibly win awards or sell their art. An abundance of mediums were available for the students to enjoy creative freedom in their pieces.
“The gallery show made me want to strive to bigger and better art projects.” Said Trevor Dimas. “I hope to have more opportunities like this in the future.”
