Football 

Rangers played Wagner this week at Rutledge stadium winning 21-13. The Rangers collected 3 sacks and even a pick to ice out the game. They opened district 1-0. This week Rangers will play Canyon with their second home game of the season. This week’s theme is go gold. 

Volleyball 

Volleyball won against Kerrville Tivy 3-0 on Sept. 20. Match scores were 25-14, 25-20, and 25-12. Senior Emily Wertz had 11 kills, while senior Hayley Barsky had 15 assists and junior Brittan Fedyk had 22 digs. Volleyball will take on Canyon tomorrow, Sept. 23. The game will take place at home at 7:00 p.m. 

Tennis 

On Saturday, September 17 tennis played against Del Rio . They beat Laredo 10-9 in a close game. On Tuesday, they played and defeated the Pieper Warriors 11-1. They are playing against Canyon Lake next Tuesday, Sept. 27. 

Water Polo 

Water Polo will play at Pieper this afternoon–girls play at 4:30 p.m. and boys are at 5:30 p.m.

Cross Country 

On Saturday, Cross Country competed in the Hays CISD invite in Buda, TX. The girls team placed first and the boys placed sixth. Sophomore Mia Perez came in first and seniors Sophia Perez and Sophia Goodwin placed second and third. Bradyn Youngdahl came in second for the boys team. Their next meet will be on Sept. 21 in Kerrville.
