 Football

The Rangers defeated MacArthur with a score of 63-3  in last weeks game. Doug Lantz, Isaiah Vivans, Kyler Clarke and Quentin Sampson are all players scored one or multiple touchdowns in this game. Quarterback Chase Senelick scored two touchdowns of his own. The Rangers will play Boerne Champion at home this Friday at 7 p.m. The theme of the game will be pink out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. 

Volleyball

Volleyball defeated Canyon Tuesday to set up a district co-championship with their Comal County rivals. Emily Wertz had 14 kills, Haley Barsky had 22 assists and Brittan Fedyk had 25 digs. Volleyball will take on Boerne Champion Friday  at 6:30 p.m.  in the main gym.

Tennis 

On October 14, the varsity tennis season came to an end. Their season ended with a loss from Alamo Heights, 0-10. Even though the season was coming to an end, Ethan Olsen and Josh Miller were able to finish the game both getting wins. After the team finished all their matches with a final score of 2-17. Five matches came to a tie breaker. 

Cross Country

On Oct. 13, cross county went to districs. Finishing first overall for girls varsity was Mia Perez and right behind her, in 5th, was Sophia Perez. The girls team finished second overall, meaning they will advance to regionals. The boys team placed third with Bradyn Youngdahl finishing third and Schaefer Robertson in 5th. Regionals will take place in Corpus Christi on Oct. 25.
