Located in the senior dining hall, The Valley Student Store is open during all lunches with a wide variety of school-themed goods.

The store sells clothing, travel bags, backpacks, keychains, mugs, glasses, temporary tattoos, with more accessories to come in the future.

Students who are in Principles of Business and Entrepreneurship are chosen to work in the shop, which has been open for five years.

The Valley Student Store is led by and sponsored by Gloria Wolfshohl, who teaches both of these classes along with Practicum of Marketing, where the store’s day to day decisions are made.

All the designs in the store were made by students.

Recently, the store partnered with its second student entrepreneur and is in the process of purchasing the student’s jewelry for sale in the store. The plan is to launch the student’s merchandise on Halloween. The jewelry will only be on sale for a limited amount of time.

In the next few days, the class will publish a new website with more information about the store.

“I really believe this year is going to be an exciting new year,” Wolfshohl said. “We are going to be launching some new products, so you should definitely come and check the store out.”
