Boys basketball

The boys basketball team lost 47-58 on Tuesday against Veterans Memorial putting their record at 10-15 and 3-12 in district play. Their next game is at Boerne Champion at 6:30pm. This game will be the last of the season for the boys Ranger basketball team.

Girls basketball 

The girls basketball team wrapped up its season yesterday with a win against Veterans Memorial. The final score was 43-41, 20 of those being put up by  junior Cyanna Cavazos. Cavazos ended the season with 13.5 ppg, 3.8 steals pg and 3.1 rpg. 

The girls ended their season with an overall record of 10-23 and a distinct record of 3-13.

Girls soccer 

The girls soccer team played against Wagner winning 9-0. Junior Addie Briscoe had three goals and one assist; Senior Raelyn Hinojosa had two goals and two assists; Junior Morgan Heintz had two goals; Junior Hannah Newton had one goal and two assists; Sophomore Peyton Cox had one goal and one assist; Sophomore Izzy Sutherland had one assist as well as senior Alyssa Pipes and Mia Wolanin. 

Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Watters played 40 minutes and had zero goals against zero saves, while Sophomore Tyler Bottjer played 20 minutes and had zero goals against one save.

The teams overall record currently stands at 6-4-2, with a district record of 4-0-2 placing them second in district. This Friday the team looks to play Tivy at home, at 7:15 p.m. 

Boys soccer

The boys soccer team also played against Wagner, winning 6-2. Their overall record currently stands at 3-5-4, with a district record of 1-2-3 currently sitting fifth in district. 

They look to head on the road this Friday against Tivy at 7:15 p.m. 

Swim

Wrestling has Regionals coming up on Feb.6 and many of these amazing athletes are looking to book their place at State. Here’s a list of the Regional qualifiers.

There are a lot of opportunities with little room for error so these athletes will need to be at the top of their game in order to qualify for state.
