The golf team will compete at state Monday at the Legacy Hills Golf Club. Golfers including as Zach Seader, Aiden Page, Anniiston Mcllwain, Cole Cantu, and Ryan Griff will represent the boys team, while Sayers Allen will play.

Football

Ranger football will play Kyle Lehman at 7:00pm in Shelton Stadium this Thursday. Scores TBD.

 

Volleyball

Ranger Volleyball has beaten The Matadors 3-0 at Seguin HS last friday. 

Macie Mathis led the team with 15 kills, followed by Megan Zamora’s 13. Mathis also tied with Ava Annunzio, and Savannah Leonard with blocks. Brittan Fedyk had 11 digs. 

This past Tuesday at their away game against Pieper they lost 2-3. Their next game will be played against Veterans Memorial this Friday at 7:00 p.m. 

 

Water Polo

Both teams’ lost to Canyon Lake this past week. Boys fell a bit short 16-10, while girls were defeated by 17-7. Next home game will be against Canyon on Oct.28. 

 

Tennis 

Varsity plays Today, Oct. 4 at 4:45 against Clark in the NISD Tennis Center.

Cross Country 

This past Saturday, cross country competed in the Jesuit XC Classic in Oak Point. Competing in the 5A-6A 5000 Meter race, junior Mia Perez pushed in a tough race placing 12th with a 19:19.10 time. Also sustaining a tough race in the boys 5A-6A 5000 Meter race was senior Braydn Youngdahl, who placed 18th with a time of 16:11.00. The next meet will be Oct. 12 where the Rangers will compete in the District 26-5A Cross Country Championship.
